Tessa Hixon is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (Cert. AVT) at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has 12 years of experience providing family centered auditory-verbal therapy services to infants, children, and adults with hearing loss. Throughout her entire career, she has worked alongside a team of audiologists doing a collaborative care approach for all types of patient populations. Tessa has a deep-rooted passion for providing aural rehabilitation to adult cochlear implant recipients to help maximize their auditory potential and guide them through their journey of hearing loss. Tessa also serves as a mentor to mentees at Hearts for Hearing who are seeking a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist certification through the Alexander Graham Bell Academy.
