Stephanie Moody Antonio, MD, FACS is Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk. Her training included residency in Otolaryngology at University of Pittsburgh and fellowship in Otology/Neurotology at the House Ear Clinic. She is the Director of the Division of Otology and Neurotology and Director of the EVMS/CHKD Cochlear Implant Program. She is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Coalition for Hearing Education and Research and Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for American Neurotology Society (ANS). She serves on the Executive Council and Education Committee for ANS, represents American Association of Otolaryngology-HNS on the Joint Commission for Infant Hearing and is a member of the Hearing Health Collaborative. She also works with the Virginia Department of Health on developing and promoting regulations and protocols for cytomegalovirus (CMV) screening in newborns after successfully advocating for legislation mandating hearing-targeted CMV screening.
