Dr. Daniel Jethanamest is an otologist and neurotologist at NYU Langone Health, where he serves as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Director of the Division of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in computer science from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science before completing his medical degree and residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at New York University School of Medicine, training under the direction of Dr. J. Thomas Roland. He completed his fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Miami Ear Institute under Dr. Thomas Balkany. His clinical and research interests include hearing rehabilitation with cochlear implants and other implantable devices, minimally invasive and endoscopic ear surgery, and translational research in computer applications for auditory implants.‍
